Nail Polish

Nail polish is a nail lacquer that dries on your nails, and comes in all different colors.

One of the main ingredients in Nail polish is Cellulose Nitrate. It makes nail polish very effective because it stays on the nail but is not strong enough to PERMANENTLY stick to the nail (which is why nail polish chips!)

Manufacturers also put pigments into their nail polish to make them very colorful.

Resins are also used in nail polish. They help the polish remain pliable and flexible without being too thin to use and spread evenly.
